Control Stash Cache #3:
Rodale’s Rocking Direct Mail
Here are 33 of Rodale’s DM packages from the company’s pinnacle and last glorious chapter when Rodale was doing $500 million a year in revenue in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
This was a family business through and through for most of its history. The first 30 years of the company were under the watch of its founder, J.I. Rodale, till his demise while taping an episode of the Dick Cavett show.
The next chapter was led by Robert Rodale until his tragic passing while traveling in the early Soviet Union to establish The New Farmer.
Thereafter, Robert Rodale’s widow, Ardath H. Rodale was largely in charge of the company with earnings in the $500 million vicinity till her death in 2009.
The copy in this collection holds up over ten years later and this is book advertising at its best.
